Bandit John is leading a ride to Ojai via Frazier Park where we will have lunch at Big John’s Mountain Grill.
Paul Edwards is the backup lead in case John has to work.

Planned route to lunch:
From there folks are free to head back if they’ve had enough, or continue on to the next stop which is Chuck Testa’s Ojai Valley Taxidermy.
Again, if you’ve had enough, you can head back via Malibu (nice scenery, good food):
Or you can stick with John and/or Paul & Kimberly out to Pea Soup Andersen’s in Buellton for dinner before heading home.

Paul and I have been talking about Pea Soup Andersen’s since before we moved here last year. I have a history of owning taxidermy animals. When Rhett & Link featured Chuck Testa’s shop on their YouTube show [http://rhettandlink.com/] we’ve been interested in visiting his shop. It’s fascinating.
Too far for the old guy.
Actually Curt, now that I look at it, it might be too far for me & Kimberly, too… The ride home from Pea Soup Andersen’s alone is 3 hours of freeway. Ugh! 🙁
Edit: Wow, the alternate route I was going to take home from Chuck Testa’s via Malibu is 3 hours as well. Either way I’m riding the same, so I’ll go to Pea Soup Andersen’s.
come on kurt….you used to do these rides like a walk in the part….don’t let age dictate your style…its all in the mind…control the mind, control the body….and more miles… like old days of your iron butt ride days…
you don;t want to miss out on bouqet canyon, or soleadad…new routes…
I have no doubt that these roads are NOT new to Curt.
Furthermore, it’s not appropriate to goad other members into riding on a ride they don’t want to do, irrespective of their reasons. This should remain a fun group devoid of peer-pressure.
well…people can ride up to frazier park and turn back if they want…. and others can head on down toward ojai, malibu or pea soup andersens…
John,
I will try to make the ride as far as Frazier Park maybe further depending on how I feel. Wrench
It would be nice to see you and your new bike, Hans.
hell yes… I want to see that new bmw bike…. and see how light it is….
or maybe you also got the fz09
My dad ran into Hans near Victorville and said that he got the BMW F800 GT.
lets hope everybody know its 8am start time….
I didn’t think the Captain got up that early.
We’ve got a lot of miles to cover… Those going all the way anyhow.
